Picture dump!

Look! My kid has hair! Lots of it!

Also, Noah and Rufio have been getting along really well lately. I mean, they've never NOT gotten along, but Rufio is wanting to actually be around Noah, which is new to both of them.
They even snuggle up to watch TV.

I went to Mary Jo's last week in search of some gingham, polka dot and striped fabrics to use for applique shirts. Check out what I found in the remnants section packs of pretty much every color ever for a grand total of $3.40! SCORE!

Noah and Joe took some time from playing to help me un-baste my triangle quilt. What cuties.

Have you ever seen Jaybird Quilts' tutorial for making quilt labels the Spoonflower way? I remember reading it a loooong time ago but thought "$20 a yard?! Spoonflower is crazy!" but as it turns out, it's $16.50/yard when you design the image AND I got 64 (or more) labels out of one yard (three different label designs!) and they are now printing on Kona cotton which is great because that's the only solids I use in quilts, so I know it will go smoothly if I piece it into the back of a quilt! I did some of my quilting logo in yellow, some in grey and some plain ol' solid ones for quilts I give as gifts (with room for a message or quote).

I'm now on my FOURTH t-shirt quilt order. Woohoo! I did something either genius or stupid by posting pics and info to my sorority's alumni Facebook page. Over 50 people have asked for more information so I'm hoping this is a good thing!  I've got one heading to the quilters today and one in the process of being pieced!

I also discovered this week that you can use a 40% off coupon on a whole BOLT of fabric/batting at Hobby Lobby! Who knew?

So now I officially have 20 yards of 90" wide batting at my disposal. Sheesh- with all the supplies ready to go, I better get to quiltin'!

Have a great weekend!
