Care to give an opinion?

Because I actually WANT to hear opinions on this kid's name!

Which do you like better and why?

Jackson Winslow P.... (Jack)
or
Noah Winslow P.... (Noah)

FWIW, Jackson is a family name and Noah is picked out of thin air (well, actually, the Bible). Winslow is a family name and (unfortch) non-negotiable. :P

PLEASE Pray for Katie!

A friend of mine from high school is engaged to be married on July 4th. She and her fiance have already sent out the invitations, she's already had multiple showers and they were set to close on their new house today. Heartbreakingly, Thursday night her fiance was killed in a car accident on the way to his bachelor party in New Orleans.

My heart is literally breaking for her- I can't imagine what she's going through. Please keep Katie, BOTH their families and their schools (they were both teachers) in your prayers/thoughts.

Here's a link to the news article if anyone is interested:

Weekly Update! 24 weeks!

How far along? 24 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: I'm still thinking 13 lbs like last week... but who knows. I don't weigh myself- I let the dr.'s office do that!
Maternity clothes? oh yeah.
Stretch marks? Still just two. So weird.
Sleep: My new memory foam pillow is awesome! I now have to put a pillow under my belly, though- that's new!
Best moment this week: I was in a wedding on the day that I turned 14 weeks- it was awesome! Beautiful wedding and when we got back to the hotel, I was STILL awake enough to watch SNL! Good day.
Movement: YUP! He likes to dance and roll around!
Food cravings: Wedding cake. Yum.
Gender: boy!
Labor Signs: Nope. But I have gotten my first Braxton-Hicks contraction though, I think. My belly got REALLY hard and uncomfortable... sound right?
Belly Button in or out? It's flat!
What I miss: Still beer...
What I am looking forward to: the end of the school year! Only 13 more school days! Woot!
Weekly Wisdom: It's actually pretty funny to be the only sober person at a wedding! haha
Milestones: Viability day! Technically- he could be born and have a chance of living. It's morbid, but a milestone I guess!

best. casserole. ever.

When we got married, one of the most amazing gifts I recieved was a wooden recipe box filled with recipes hand written by my mother's friend Jamie. Jamie is a former caterer and an amazing cook! Tonight I tried her recipe for Chicken-Broccoli Casserole- I figured it would be no big deal, just some casserole. But oh, no. It changed my life.

I think it's the curry powder that makes it magical.

I forgot to take a pic of the hot bubbly casserole dish... so here's a picture of the leftovers all packed up for my lunch tomorrow:

Chicken-Broccoli Casserole

2 cans cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup mayo
1/2 tsp curry powder
1 tbsp lemon juice
salt and pepper (to taste)
2 10 oz. packages frozen broccoli (I used chopped)
3 whole chicken breasts
1 cup grated cheddar cheese

Make sauce of soup, mayo, curry powder and salt & pepper. Cook broccoli slightly and drain. Boil chicken until done- cut up in large pieces. Layer pieces of chicken, broccoli and then sauce. Repeat. Top with grated cheese. Bake at 325* for 30-40 minutes or until bubbly.

Oh. My. Word.
