MY NEW LENS CAME YESTERDAY!
I'm a little excited.
(IT's a 35mm f/1.8) I haven't had much time to play with it since it got here right as the sun was going down, but I'm gonna play around today!Joe did take this picture of us in the backyard though, which I like:
... also, I'm toying with the idea of an Etsy shop. Cloth napkins, camera straps, burp cloths, onesies, hair bows, etc. You know, all that stuff that's already on Etsy. Hmm...

Oooh, do you shoot with Canon or Nikon? I LOVE getting new lenses. I haven't been able to get one for a while but I know the feeling. Hrm... I'm kind of tempted to get one now... (my husband would KILL me!).
And yes! Open an Etsy shop. I actually have a shop where I sell cloth napkins, cloth wipes, nursing covers, and tote bags. I honestly never thought I'd make money off of it because there are so many other companies out there. But in my first month in business I made 15 sales and turned a profit (a small one, but still a profit). It's do-able! Just advertise (I recommend blog advertising, but you already knew that) and network with fellow Mommys. When you open your shop, let me know. I need another camera strap!
