Ok, so... I don't know how to knit.
Correction: I didn't know how to knit until this book! I mean, I could do a simple knit stitch, but I didn't know what purl/knit over/bind off/3 needle bind off or any other knitting term meant until this book!
It breaks everything down for you, even shows you pictures, to make sure you can follow a knitting pattern! Using this book, I might Noah this hat on the drive to GA for the wedding:

I'm jealous! Can I be your friend and you make my son a hat?? He sure won't get one from me! Mommy can only make him a scarf when he is bigger. :( Too cute.
Girl- the hats are easier than the scarves in my opinion (I feel like scarves NEVER end!)! Give one a try!
